Afro-Caribbean College Student
Experience Survey (ACCSES)
Welcome
Thank you for your interest in the Afro-Caribbean College Student Experience Survey.
This confidential online survey is designed to better understand how identity, cultural background, campus climate, support systems, belonging, antiblackness, and cultural misrecognition shape the academic and social experiences of Afro-Caribbean students and alumni in U.S. higher education.
Your responses can contribute to research intended to inform more responsive educational practices, institutional policies, and systems of support.
The survey takes approximately 20–30 minutes to complete and questions may ask about:
Your cultural, racial, and ethnic identity;
Your family or migration background;
Your educational journey;
Campus climate and sense of belonging;
Experiences with support, exclusion, bias, or antiblackness;
Community and cultural resources;
Mental health and well-being; and
Your interest in optional follow-up activities.
You may skip individual questions, pause, or stop participating at any time.
